What are all in one solar street lights?
In recent years, integrated solar-powered street lamps have been used more and more due to their convenient installation and ease of transportation over first-generation solar street lights.
First Generation Split-type Solar street light
First-generation split-type solar street lights mainly consist of solar panels, controllers, LED lamps, battery boxes, lead/acid batteries, poles, cable, etc.
The first generation of solar street light products due to the backward battery technology generally uses a relatively bulky and relatively short life of the lead-acid batteries or gel batteries.

Second Generation Semi-split type solar street light
Most of the second-generation semi-split solar street lights use lithium batteries, which are smaller and easier to install, and the batteries are generally installed under the solar panels or on the poles. So there is no need to do complex foundation and wiring like the first generation of a solar street lamp. You only need to install the light pole, and then the solar panel, battery, and light body can be installed on the pole.

Third Generation All in one solar street light
The third generation of all-in-one solar street lamps is usually smaller, using longer life ternary lithium or lithium iron phosphate batteries. The battery is usually built into the solar street light body. One-piece solar street lights are more convenient to install because there is no complicated installation procedure, allowing for more flexible installation. They can be installed on a good sunlit wall, on a pole, or on a stand.

How Integrated Solar Street Light Work?
- Choose an exact place with open, unshaded sunshine.
- Make the ground base for the pole.
- Prepare the iron/steel/wood/cement pole with 2’ to 3’, thickness>5/64’ – 14ga
- Install the pole in the ground base.
- Open the luminaire package, and check all accessories are in place & ready.
- Take out the pin, then switch ON the lamp and check the LED’s status.
- Fix the holder on the lamp fixture (figure 1), then put the fixture on the top of the pole, insert the holder and fix it with screws (figure 2).

Benefits of Integrated Solar Street Light

Easy installation. With its compact size, it is easy to ship with lower transportation costs, and when installing all-in-one solar street lights, there is no external wiring process, unlike the conventional solar street lights. The installation process can be done in only a few minutes. You can install it without any hassle since it doesn’t require engineering or electrical background skills in setting it up. All you need to do is fasten the mounting screws on the pole.
Lower shipping cost Because integrated solar street lights are compact in structure and have an all-in-one design, they also have lower shipping costs. Besides, these lights are lightweight which makes the transportation and installation effortless. If you are planning to resell it, you should consider a compact design factor since it can affect your profit margin. Full shipping container loads of integrated solar street lights can be double compared with conventional solar street lights. And also provides for major cost reduction in warehouse space.
Wide applications Solar-powered all-in-one solar street light adopted wireless stand-alone design allows for more flexible and extensive applications, which can be installed on the wall, on the pole, or on the bracket, etc. All-in-one solar street lights can be widely used in highways, city roads, country lanes, squares, parks, courtyards, playgrounds, industrial parks, parking lots, remote areas, and other sunny places.
High security All-in-one solar street lights do not need to lay wires, and there is no external wiring, so the security is high and can prevent some safety accidents, such as leakage, electric shock, and other safety hazards. As the one-piece solar street light is usually installed on the top of a pole, it largely reduces the risk of theft.
High hurricane/typhoon and shock resistance ability. All-in-one integrated solar street lights come with a compact design, unlike split-type solar street lights, in which solar panels are separated from the LED fixtures. Due to their compact structure, they can withstand hurricanes/typhoons while offering better performance at the same time.
Good anti-rust and anti-corrosion performance Usually, all-in-one integrated solar street lights adopt pure aluminum alloy as the structure body, and through some surface treatment, they can be installed in some coastal high salt areas. Compared to traditional street lights, all-in-one solar street lights require minimal to zero maintenance due to their materials and compact design. Plus, some models have self-cleaning features.
