2. Component Selection Requirements for Luxman Standard Products

As a professional manufacturer, Luxman has established component selection standards that exceed those of general products for prison scenarios. Each component undergoes multi-environment aging tests at the factory:

1. Light Source and Lamps

  • All use high-efficiency LED light sources, with luminous efficacy of no less than 140 lm/W, color rendering index (CRI) ≥70, and design life ≥80,000 hours, meeting mainstream industry performance requirements for 2025.
  • Color temperature selection is neutral white light at 4000K-5000K, ensuring clear identification under monitoring, without causing agitation due to excessively bright lighting.
  • The lamp body is made of impact-resistant high-pressure die-cast aluminum, with a toughened glass diffuser and an internal metal protective mesh. The overall structure is non-detachable, with no exposed or separable components; protection rating is not less than IP65, upgraded to IP66+ C4 corrosion resistance for coastal special areas, suitable for operating temperatures of -35℃ to +45℃.

2. Solar Photovoltaic Panels

  • Luxman offers two adaptable solutions: polycrystalline photovoltaic panels with conversion efficiency ≥17% for regular regions, stable conversion efficiency, and controllable costs; and monocrystalline photovoltaic panels with conversion efficiency ≥21% for poor light conditions or high-demand projects, offering higher generation capacity, with a design life of at least 20 years.
  • All panels undergo ultraviolet aging tests before leaving the factory to ensure power degradation does not exceed 15% over 20 years of use.

3. Controllers and Storage Components

  • Controllers use intelligent MPPT technology with efficiency ≥95%, featuring multiple protections including overcharge, over discharge, temperature compensation, light control, and timer control, with a no-load current ≤10 mA and low self-consumption, with a design life of ≥30 years. Supports remote monitoring upgrades, allowing centralized fault status access at the prison monitoring center for convenient maintenance.
  • Storage batteries can be selected based on project needs:
    1. For conventional projects: valve-regulated sealed maintenance-free gel lead-acid batteries, capable of deep charge and discharge, with a usable temperature range of -25℃ to +50℃, meeting a cycle life of 6 years with lower costs.
    2. For high-demand projects: solar-specific lithium batteries with higher energy density, cycle life ≥2000 cycles (25℃/1C charging and discharging), lighter weight, reduced maintenance needs, with a design life no less than 8 years.
  • Both battery solutions come with a factory standard warranty of no less than 3 years, complying with industry standards.

4. Light Pole Structure

  • Constructed of high-strength steel Q235 or above, with overall hot-dip galvanization and powder coating, with wind speed design ≥35 m/s and seismic resistance ≥8 degree, able to withstand extreme weather; the surface is treated with UV-resistant electrostatic powder, retaining color for 10 years, and all fasteners are made of 304 stainless steel to eliminate rust and loosening.
  • The design lacks exposed climbing points, and the pole body is smooth and flat to avoid being used as a climbing escape tool.

The Guangdong Zhaohong Photoelectric IP66 solar lighting modules and Huapu Yongming high-efficiency LED streetlight modules are commonly used core components in Luxman prison lighting projects. The factory can directly adopt mature supporting solutions based on project needs to ensure performance stability.

3. Factory Installation and Security Requirements

Luxman provides free technical disclosures for project installation and specifies the following requirements for prison scenarios:

  1. Foundation Construction Requirements: Underground pipelines must be verified before digging foundation pits. After confirming no other facilities, concrete foundations should be poured to the designed depth, with embedded bolt designs ensuring the pole is tightly connected to the foundation without gaps.
  2. Electrical Wiring Requirements: Battery output lines must connect to controllers via PVC protection pipes, and all wiring should be concealed within the pole, with no exposed accessible lines. All metal components must have reliable grounding protection, and the entire system uses low-voltage DC supply, eliminating electrocution risks.
  3. Photovoltaic Panel Installation Requirements: In the Northern Hemisphere, panels should be oriented directly south, with tilt angles adjusted according to installation latitude to maximize solar irradiation reception. Installations must avoid long-term shading objects, and if there are obstructions, the factory can provide power capacity expansion solutions to ensure charging needs are met.
  4. Control Permissions Requirements: Main control switches and zone controls should be in the duty room or monitoring center, with no switches operable by external personnel in the lighting areas. All on/off parameters must be preset by the factory, and only wiring and debugging are required on-site to ensure no violations occur.

4. Illumination Configuration and Layout Guidance

According to the functional needs of different areas surrounding the prison, Luxman can provide customized illumination configuration schemes:

Prison Surrounding AreaRecommended Average IlluminationDesign Requirements
Main Isolation Belt≥300 LuxNo illumination blind spots, clear identification of personnel profiles in conjunction with monitoring systems, satisfying security traceability requirements.
Surrounding Access Roads≥200 LuxIllumination uniformity not less than 0.4, avoiding visual blind spots created by brightness contrast.
Key Restricted Entrances and Exits≥350 LuxColor rendering index increased to CRI≥80, ensuring clear identification of faces and items.

All products undergo anti-glare treatment before leaving the factory, and optical design avoids direct light exposure to prison windows, ensuring surveillance visibility without disturbing internal rest. The system also retains an emergency lighting interface for connecting backup power sources, automatically switching to ensure uninterrupted lighting during main control power outages.

The system capacity is designed for full-power lighting for 3-5 days of continuous rain, with photovoltaic panel power and battery capacity calculated based on the average annual sunshine hours of the project site to ensure stable operation in extreme weather.
